While not quote as bad as yours was, I think mine is complete, I am in the middle of the engine rebuild. Seeing yours finished gives me hope and should get me out in the garage again. Good work.

Any more engine pics you could email me at [email protected]

    Thanks

    Mike

Yes the bumpers were modified by the previous owneer. The mounts were shortened and then the bumper pushed into the body closer. I think this makes the GT4 US bumpers more acceptable.

No the window stayed in. There are two large nuts on each corner which are accessed with the instrument cluster removed and the inside of the glove box removed.

The window does have to come out because there is now a nice chip in it...

    The exhaust looks nice.
Do you know the brand name, number and internal construction of the muffler box?
    thanks!

No sorry I don't. I believe the muffler was made to Rock's specifications and then he bent the pipes in house.

I'm speechless. I bought my GT4 in July and have already put it far more hours working on it than driving it, but it's a single grain of sand on the beach compared to the work involved here. Very admirable effort and result. How'd you keep your motivation for four years?

Jay, you are an inspiration to GT4 owners everywhere. You have a beautiful car, and the hard work that went into it really shows.

Andrew, it was tough, especially seeing everyone else in the club driving their cars! My wife and I won the annual ralley in the non-Ferrari class. Going to Mosport for track days was unbareable but I did get to ride in others cars which motivated me to get cracking. It is worth it.

This month it will go in for the steering rack (which is leaking), it's one of the few things we didn't touch.

Still admiring your work Jay. What wheels are those on the car and would it be possible for you to post a picture of the rear of the car? Just want to see a better picture of the modified rear bumper position. Thanks

The wheels are 3 piece MOMO's 8" rears 7" fronts. BTW does anyone have a source for the "Cavallino Rampante" for the centers of these rims? I know others have them. Called MOMO but they didn't want to even look...

Great Job I love the yellow. What color are your grills I was marked off at CI for dark grey mettalic grills which several others also have. Just checking?

The car looks great Jay, who did the paint work and who did you get to blast the chassis and so on, taking the wiring harness out was probably the hardest part, mine was a PITA. Nice work.

Jay, I've always liked your car. It has to be one of the nicest GT4s I've ever laid eyes on. Thank you for sharing the pictures with us.

To everybody else - I have had the pleasure of being a passenger in Jay's car. It sings just beautifully and gets driven as Enzo intended.

masterful .. really, a true poke in the eye to all those that sneer at the GT4 as not worth "saving" it is incredible what passion can drive you to accomplish..way to go and thanks for bringing one back!
