    Finally got some decent weather to make it to my Dads to check out the new (old) 308. One thing I noticed was these two little holes next to the latches on the targa top. My Dad has these little plastic thinks that look like they might go there? I can’t imagine what that thing does. Anyone have any idea, and pics of what it is supposed to look like? I am going to try and post pics. Let’s see if this works.

    That was my guess - kind of some sort of driver installed coat hanger situation. I've never seen that before.

    I believe they mount on the back bulk head to prevent the strored targa from cutting the ledge panel. The latch handles can damage the ledge panel.
