Taken Off Market 1985 308 GTSi PRUGNA/Beige

Ask $85k OBO- please No lowballing as you know the value of a sorted out 308. Car is located in San Diego, CA. mileage may marginally increase as I drive and enjoy her.

1985 Ferrari 308 GTS Quattrovalvole is finished in Prugna over tan leather upholstery, and it is powered by a fuel-injected 2.9-liter V8 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. NO sticky second gear - smooth shifting. Stock for the most part - original for all parts upgrades or reliability mods. Seats were refreshed two owners ago - assuming 4 owners but no direct provenance to confirm. Normal wear and tear with stone chips in the original PRUGNA paint with some touch up.
There are reportedly 12 or 16 PRUGNA cars in the US according to the QV register and other sources. Car Manual, Jack, emergency light, seat covers and old expansion tank are included with the car. Top is in great shape and seals/closes well. Window motors are original.
Bridgman Fusebox upgraded by previous owner.

Equipment includes a removable roof panel, staggered-width 16″ wheels, air conditioning, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a Pioneer
NEX3500 flip up screen single DIN unit.

Updated as of November 22, 2021 (50,500 miles)

Powder coated plenum (Red) and valve covers black (see new pics)
Intermittent coil activity identified and replaced with new coils.
Valves adjusted and regapped with all new belts and tensioners.
Fresh oil change and new air filter.
Spark plug checked and replaced malfunctioning wires - looms cleaned up with new holders.
Steering column adjusted for a better ride position and clamps replaced on steering boots - verified no leaks or issues.
New CV boots.
Stainless steel braided lines for oil cooler and all pressure hoses for oil and cooling.
Passed CA smog - YAY!!! and fully registered in California (so cats and exhaust are working).
Cold start and stable at 1000 rpm (video).
Clutch and Brakes are good.

LOL isn’t everyone looking for a great deal. the issue with vintage cars is that unless they are sorted out - the great deal can turn into a money pit and there goes the deal.

I’m looking for a stencil, there was one on eBay then - not. I just got another set of 4 stem covers so will be replacing it this weekend. Am going to lock them down with the screw lock to keep them from vibrating off.
