Very rare, low mileage 928 GT for sale. 28,733 miles. There were only 1,620 GTs produced, compared to 2,831 GTSs. Approx. 151 GTs came to North America in 1989.

Compared to the S4, Porsche gave the GT increased horsepower, wider rear wheels, sport suspension and brakes, club sport wheels, electronic limited slip differential, rolled fender lips front and rear, lightened twin outlet exhaust, shorter shift lever, different intake (same as GTS), short ratio manual transmission, GT camshafts, and only came with the 5 speed manual.

Excellent condition. All original equipment. Major service performed at 27,565 miles.

    Option Codes:

M139- Adjustable Seat Heating - Left
    M220- Limited Slip Differential, 40%
    M340- Seat heating - Right
    I393- Forged Clubsport wheels 8Jx16ET60 / 9Jx16 ET60
    M418- Protective side mouldings
M474- 1986.5-up Boge GZ twin-pipe gas shock absorbers
    M481- 5 speed manual transmission
    I639- 1989 GT
    M650- Sunroof
    I691- Alpine CD-Player "CD-2" with radio

    M28.47 - engine serial #
    G28.55- trans serial #

The most important code is I639, which designates the car as a true GT. Several S4s are on the market, inaccurately advertised as a GT.

I love German GT cars from the 1980s doesn't matter if its the 928, Benz SEC, 6\8 Series BMWs...these are great cars.

I know the 928 values are on the rise, so hope you get your asking price.
