    All,

Not sure how to do this but I walked into my buddies car dealership today and saw a car covered in the corner that looked very low and exotic car like.
Asked my buddy what it was and he pulled back the car cover to reveal a beautiful 1990 Testarossa with 4,016 miles.
Not my car but it is one that needs to go to someone who will use it as it should be used.
It is a one owner consignment, owner passed away and his wife is selling it.
Recently had 30K in service done.
Everything is present, books, spare, receipts etc.
It is priced at $189,900, I think that is pretty firm from what he says.
If anyone is interested reach out to me and I will get you to my buddy.

Since you are not the seller I guess it’s not inappropriate for me to point out that that’s a lot of wear on that bolster for a 4000 mile car.

Call me jaded when I see someone’s first post as that post.

To my eyes, it looks pretty minor. You should see me get in and out of my car - it's quite a circus act ;)

Miles don't equate to bolster wear as much as the method used to get in and out of the car :)

It's not. Go to the link posted and review the other photos. No doubt in my mind the miles are accurate. Car is in great shape.

I could call you jaded, but that doesn’t remove my confusion as to why you made a post insinuating that it wasn’t completely disclosed that the car was on consignment when it was explicitly stated as such.

If you think something is fishy then just post that you think something is fishy, right?

Guys. I'm just a car guy passing information to a forum that would hopefully appreciate a car like this.
Love Ferraris but don't own one so I lurk, read but obviously don't post.
If that's fishy then I'm scratching my head here.

I think it would be fishy if it was priced at like 70k!
Seems fair and straight up to me.
I too noticed the bolster wear and thought it a bit odd but hey who knows how a person gets in and out of their car.
Beauty of a car for sure!

You seem to have some sort of fixation with my comments about the bolster on this car; for the record I’m not saying the car is not in good shape or that the stated mileage is inaccurate. I’m merely opining that the bolster has a lot of wear for a 4000 mile car. That’s my opinion and I get it by now that you have a different opinion. Good for you.

I do not. You may have whatever opinion you like. My point is 2 fold: 1) No need to make this type of comments on a sellers add (friend of seller or not) 2) Most Ferrari owners understand bolster wear is very common and happens pretty easy. We don't know if the owner drove twice, 2000 miles each or 400 times, 10 miles each. The more times in and out of the car and how it's done will cause this. You comment seemed to suggest the miles may not be legit and my review of the other photos seems to show a very clean car and I would not question the miles.

I equate the bolster wear to be equivalent to a 28 year old car that was treated more like a seating area than a driver's car. Imagine how many lucky people were offered the opportunity to sit in this car! Likely including the owner himself - perhaps he no longer could drive a stick and got in it often to reminisce, but couldn't bear the thought of selling it.

You have to admit, the Testarossa represents more than just a Ferrari - in some people's eyes, it's a work of mid-80s art. Absolutely nothing wrong about owning art that rolls and makes glorious noises...

...not that I would ever NOT drive a Ferrari in my possession...
