I buy and sell Ferrari owner's manuals and every now and then one arrives with a window sticker.

I have a window sticker for a 1995 black / beige 456 GT # 100624. The 456 was sold at Ferrari of Beverly Hills.

I'm willing to return the window sticker to the rightful owner, proof of ownership required.

According to the government's inflation calculator, that $207k price in '95 would be ~$347k today. Base for a Portofino is $215k, base for a 488 is $254k, base for a 812 Superfast is $335k. Of course, we all know the options lists are long and expensive. But this pretty much puts a 95 456 GT equivalent to an incredibly dressed up Portofino, a nicely optioned 488, or a baseline Superfast.

Either this is "oh, how the mighty has fallen" or its "these cars are incredibly underestimated and undervalued". As a 456M owner, I vote the later!!

+1 to “incredibly underestimated and undervalued”. But it’s a 2+2, just ask the Mondial fan-base what a 2+2 designation does to values.

Agreed!! But we’re in the insane world of Ferrari-land where a 20 y.o. car w/ over 40k mileage is considered high-mileage!! Really it laughable. No worries Eric, you and I both know that we’ll have the last laugh.

The Mondial is a bit tougher as the styling is more polarizing, but the 456? Universally acknowledged to be a great/classic design. Btw love that pic of your car post-delivery covered in ice- great shot!!

You and I WILL have the last laugh. But we may have to wait long enough that it will be a raspy old cackle!!
Of course, in the meantime, we get to drive these lovely beasties. So we win all the way around.

I’ll probably end up driving (owning) the lowly Mondial before the classic 456. Personally I love the styling of the Mondial (my first love). And, as you can see, I’m a “sucker” for the (bastard child) Ferrari 2+2. First a mid-engine V-8, then a front 12!!
