Nice looking car. How many owners ? Please post full build sheet showing the "other options". Thank you
Thanks for the interest. It's had 3 owners, although the orignal owner only had it 6 months. I have a call in to get the full build sheet and will post it when I have it.
Beautiful Ferrari. But to this day, I still can't wrap my head around black painted aluminum wheels on any modern sportscar. It worked on the original Porsche 930 fuchs. But that was four decades ago. IMO
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but why are Ferraris so expensive in the USA?, against UK prices. Based on the latest exchange rate of 0.75 dollars to pounds the above car is a tad over £202,000. Looking on one of the UKs most popular classifieds sites, the above figure will get you a 2018 F12 with just 5k miles and 3 owners? Again i do apologise, this is not meant to ruffle any feathers. Is it purely shipping and original import costs?
Not correct. It was changed back in 2019. Here is a link https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/updated-classified-section-rules-effective-1-1-2019.591633/
I don't see the section you are referencing. You are encouraged to make offers in private but not required. But I don't believe its allowed or appropriate to comment on price or start a general discussion on F12 pricing on this thread.
Click on the link I referenced above. Look at post 128 in that thread. The rules were changed in 2019 and you can absolutely comment on the price. The rules in 2019 state you can’t make personal attacks but all other commentary is allowed.
I sincerely apologise again, there was no offence intended regarding the pricing of this car. I was simply comparing UK prices and in hindsight posted somewhere else on this subject.
No need to apologize. In fact you are exactly correct! If the normal depreciation trends of 1-2 yrs ago had continued this would/should be a 200-210K car. For some strange reason everyone in the good old US of A seems to have a great deal more money to pay for these cars than they did 2-3 yrs ago. I am seeing low mile '16 and '17 F12 for 320-330K now.
Simple explanation is the US Dollar total money supply has been doubled in the last 2 years. Inevitably that's impacted all asset prices across the board...and inflation is essentially at record highs. Coupled with cheap debt...you're basically being paid to buy a Ferrari. and that reflects in the pricing of essentially all cars across the board right now. Or watches, art, housing, etc.
Beauty is in eyes of the beholder. I am 51. Have not owned a car with silver / chrome rims since I was 20 (that was 1978 Camero). To me, those look so dated and old. I have 2 Ferraris now and lotus on order - all with black rims. Love them more and more every time I look at them. To each their own.
I was at Atlantis a couple of weeks ago to inquire on having my car stored there. I also a have an F12 and the one in show room is a very clean and it looks like it’s been taken care of. If I didn’t have mine I’d jump on this one. If I’m not mistaken I spoke to Ken very knowledgeable about every car there and down earth person.
I love this color combination. I do have a Lotus in white with black rims. I think black rims look especially good on white cars.
