It’s now time for another car so my 2016 California T is up for sale. Top level details: 2016 Ferrari California T 21K miles. I’m asking $165K. I’m the 2nd owner, I purchased it Certified Pre-Owned from Ferrari of Salt Lake City Utah 2.5 years ago with only 7K miles. I enjoyed driving this car every chance I get. All service up to date, New Power warranty recently expired, excellent condition, no door dings no curb rash. I have all service records. Flyer I created when I take my car to car shows attached. For lower level detailed info please message me or eMail me. Thanks. You landed on a really fair asking price Dan. What an awesome car for the money in today’s climate. Best of luck. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I know this car and this seller. Dan takes impeccable care of his vehicles. You can buy with confidence, plus Dan is a great guy to work with!
Dan, sorry I’m not in the market for your car as have my own 2016 Cali T and in the UK. However I am very interested in your Smart top experience. I had one on my previous SLK 55 and loved it. Although I would love to fit one to the California I am concerned over the fragile nature it it’s roof mechanism (already been in the shop as had a few roof stuck open issues, seems fixed now) and would it invalidate my warranty? Good luck with your sale. Thanks in advance Roy
Hi Roy, I had the Smart Top roof controller on my 360 Spider, F430 Spider and now on my Cali T. I like it a lot and had zero issues with it. Love the 1 push button open and close / no need to hold down the switch, plus the ability to close the roof even at ~28 miles an hour. Instead of trying to find a spot to pull over in the event of rain, we can just slow down to about 28 miles an hour and close the roof, then drive to speed limit again. I like it also as its configurable. However, if your car is still under warranty you may want to wait until your car is out of warranty. As we all know, dealers will always try to find a way to find blame on any after market products installed on the car to deny warranty claim. Ask me how I know......... Hope that helps. All the best to you. Dan Loyola My car is still for sale by the way, I'm taking offers.
Beautiful car, Dan! Interesting about the SmartTop, I didn't know you could do it while the car was running. Is it easily removed on the Cali T? I would think if there was top trouble you could just pull it out and the dealer would be none the wiser (unless they read FChat ).
Thanks Vic! Yes, love my car, it is beautiful but its just time to try another car. Yes, the SmartTop roof controller will enable open and closing of the roof up to ~28mph. I do it all the time and its cool (common sense not to do it when its very windy) It's very easily installed and very easily removed. The ECU is located left side of the trunk. Yes, you can pull it out easily if taking the car for service but my understanding is the cars roof main ECU logs roof movement and stores it in its internal memory so the dealer can pull those data. And yes, my understanding is some dealers do read FChat posts............ Dan
My apologies for the inaccuracy of my statement above. The roof in motion feature was on my F430 Spider. On the Cali T the car has to completely stopped to initiate the roof open or close command. Once the roof starts to move you can drive off and the SmartTop will finish its motion even with the car running at up to ~28 mph. Sorry for the confusion. Dan
Good morning, I've been eyeing your car on FB and now here. I'm located near San Diego. Can you tell me where the car is currently located (Seattle area)? Maybe a silly question (I'm no expert as a recent California transplant) but any foreseen issues registering in California (i.e. is it a 50-state vehicle, passes smog)? Thank you, Mike
Hi Mike, my car is all stock, factory EPA compliant. I don’t see why it won’t pass California Smog test. Call me for further discussions. Thanks! Dan Loyola 425-931-1411 I may be in meetings so kindly leave message and I will call you back as soon as I’m free.
By the way, I’m in Everett Washington. You can fly to PAE / Paine Field Airport for about $69.00 each way. PAE is 15 minutes from my house. I will pick you up and buy you lunch. come see the car in person. Dan
