Some believe NYG want to lose out to get a franchise qb in the draft...but nobody in NY can say that. If they do get a franchise qb in the draft, Eli will probably be traded. If they trade him before March they avoid a $5 million roster bonus and his $16 million salary. Or they could keep him to train the new qb for a year or two.
