New style in steel with jubilee band... I get that this was a highly anticipated watch. I did not think it would be selling for 2x MSRP though! $20k+!

I have not checked with any dealers regarding waiting lists / availability.

Is everything in steel really that crazy now?

Yep. It’s absolutley crazy from what I can see on the forums and for sale threads.

An late serial (F,D,Z) 16710 Pepsi was 7-8k about a year ago and now I struggle to find one under 10k.

I see 116710 BLNR asking for 500-1000 over list. Not sure what they go for but still there seems to be more demand than supply for any of the steel sports watches (Sub, GMT, Daytona)

Hopefully one of the dealers on here can chime in. They probably know more than I do

Keep an eye out for the later 16710 I see a lot of fluctuation. You can probably score one for 8-9. I actually saw a 116710BLNR listed and sold for 9 too.

Don't buy into the hype - prices will go down on all of these, first signs will be on eBay.

Almost snagged one, brand new, in Vegas two years ago when I was at SEMA. They wanted $8700 which I thought was a steal. Agree, the bubble will burst just give it time.

Tudor just came out with a Pepsi GMT which retails for under $4K and you should be able to buy one for msrp although you may have to call around.

That Tudor is s great looking watch. A for the Rolex I'm not personally a fan of the jubilee bracelet but I agree with the others who posted earlier, the price will come down just give it a little time.

Never cared for the jubilee bracelet either but at least the new ones have a proper clasp on them.

Try looking at prices on vintage 1675’s (pre 1964) absolutely insane. I offered mine for sale here a year ago at $20k. Now it’s 30.

As long as supply is limited, the price will hold. For example, the new ceramic Daytona is still selling at $18-20,000.

My AD tells me the new ceramic Pepsi with jubilee is even harder to obtain.

The vintage Daytona 6263 is now$80,000 plus.

No comparison to the 6263 which had a three year +/- production run if I'm remembering correctly. Do you really think Rolex would limit the production run for these? These have been arguable Rolex's best sellers in years. I recall the same type of hype when the SkyDweller came out as well. I'm no means an expert just a watch enthusiast.

15 year +/- production run. No, as long as Rolex can make money they will continue to upgrade to the newer style. I just don’t see prices declining. The new ceramic Pepsi sells for $9,300. I don’t see prices falling to that level on the grey market.

Thanks for the info on the 6263, I must have been thinking about one of the other subset variation of the Daytona when I mentioned 3-years production run. Agree, I don't think prices will fall to MSRP in the near future, but I don't think the prices at current levels will be sustainable either, especially when Rolex starts to put out new variants in the coming year(s). As with everything, time and the market will determine future value. Either way, I do like the watch and looking to pick one up myself, but not at 2x. Cheers.

I love that watch. I knew I should have bought it last year. If only my bank account would have been more cooperative.

I am going to watch this 1966 GMT gilt.
If it stays under $30, I will be wearing it....while sleeping on the couch.

You wouldn’t believe what I was offered recently for my 6263.
    Stupid money.
And I am more stupid for not accepting.

    I still may take it.
Buy one back when the market corrects.
    And it will.

No, I think you did it right, I think I didn't; the title of the thread is "2018 Pepsi...." not "Vintage Pepsi prices..."

Such a deal I have for you! :)

A little off topic but I noticed a GMT II rose gold "root beer". Dang that caught my eye. Seems to be the hot PM , along with the Sky Dweller right now. Anyone have any insight on them?

Really nice. Two-tone brand new looks like selling for $2k-2.5k over MSRP. Mint $1k-1.5k. All rose gold should be at or under MSRP.
