Time for a new thread, though it may be a short one depending on what happens. I heard a suggestion on sports radio for moving the 2020 season to spring 2021, which rather makes sense. If the entire 2020 season is moved five months to the right, the first games could be played at the beginning of February, with the "New Year's" bowl games played on June 1 and the championship decided by mid-month. Although football is generally considered an "all-weather" sport, if February is considered too cold for the northern conferences, then a reasonable alternative is an 8-game season starting March 1, with all games being conference games and no bye weeks.
