Correct on dine in and phone order take out only. Bathroom not sure. Need a mask when picking up order. We still park in our normal spaces in the back lot.

Craig, I called Starbucks and was told the bathroom is closed along with indoor seating. Don’t have to call in your order any longer. Just enter through the front door and place your order like the good old days. I’ve heard Starbucks is closing 400 stores around the country, focusing on their stores with drive thru service. They are adding new stores, all of which will have drive thru service. Today when I asked the manager (Kim) if our Starbucks would close since there isn’t any way to add a drive thru window, she wouldn’t tip her hand. Said “we’re here for now with our big smiles to greet you with”. My guess, we are going to need a new spot to gather. Just a matter of time. Hope to you you soon.

Thanks, Joe. Any ideas from the gatherers on other more open full service venues with a good size parking lot and a little shade, preferably in the Glastonbury area (since that seems to be convenient for most to get to)? I have also, read, about Starbucks closing a lot of their stores, so we should probably check some sites out sooner rather than later. Those that live in the area might know of some good alternatives. I’m an hour away, so I have no idea what else is in the area.

I don't think we need be looking just yet. that Starbucks isn't going anywhere for a while. It's just as easy to get a coffee as it is to get groceries.

Tom is probably correct about not needing to rush. Talked to someone at Starbucks corporate just now and was told they haven’t decided which stores will close yet. He says it will take up to 18 months to close all 400. They are mainly looking to close shops that have the highest concentrations of people such as college campus stores. They seem to want us in and out. Time will tell what happens in Glastonbury.

Update on Kringle Candle C and C:
Their first event of the season is still scheduled for July 12th, 8 to 11 AM. I'll keep checking during the week and let you know if there are any changes.
Discussion last week was that some of you might meet at G'Bury and caravan up. From G'Bury I'd estimate an hour and 15 minutes.
Others might meet here at my house in Longmeadow MA and we'll leave here at 8AM. It takes approx. 45 minutes to get to Kringle from my house
Directions to Kringle: I-91 north to MA exit 28B. The exit puts you headed west for a half mile and ends at Rt. 5. Go left (south) for about a half mile and it will be on the left side. Can't miss it.
Directions to my house: I-91 north to the last exit in CT (Longmeadow MA Route 5). Stay right off ramp (north) . Go approx. 1 mile and take a right on Maple RD ( at the 4th light). Go approx. 1 mile through 1 light and take a left on Frank Smith Rd. Got to #547 on right.
    Stay tuned....

I’m heading to Farmington, have a couple buddies I haven’t seen in a while that are heading there. Bonus will be I won’t miss the F1 race, sad part is based on qualifying I’m going to wish I did.
