Taken Off Market 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 392 - Sting Gray

GLWS. I can say that not many cars put a bigger smile on my face while driving than my 392 does. It’s like an old fashioned muscle car was mated with a Jeep they had a 392 baby. The 475HP and 475 ft lbs of torque result in a 4.4 second 0 to 60. Plus the exhaust note is sonic perfection.

 

Ha, I told you. These things are bad ass.

 

Just a heads up, you probably already know this, but in the event you do not, there’s an exhaust button that you push that basically makes the exhaust go silent.

My wife always thought the start up on the jeep was embarrassing. I was like... What that's the best part!

 

Agreed with others here. I've owned a lot of "fun" cars. My Rubicon 392 wrangler (with XR package) is about the most fun I've ever had in a vehicle. I bought it to have something unique and fun to tide me over while I wait for a Roma thats still more than a year out and I don't think I'll get rid of it now and strangely enough its my wife that would kill me if I sold it. She's adopted it as her new toy which I'm fine with. We took the top off of it a few weeks in, and have never put it back on.

Somebody should pick this up. If you don't know about the 392, its about the best sounding/performing motor you would ever want in a Wrangler. Its just hilarious good fun.

 

I just got my 392 XR two weeks ago and I seriously might never sell it. I say that about every car but these things are absurdly fun. Amazing sound, feels like you’re king of the road with the lift and 35’s, super comfortable, solid sound system, and can still carry stuff. The one touch top is also an awesome feature for those that have it.

i was lucky to switch my order to the Gobi color and apparently there were only 13 of those made with the XR package. The only way to get one was to switch an existing XR order in the system that hadn’t been scheduled for build yet to that color because XR package wasn’t available while Gobi could be ordered.

Anyone looking for an awesome daily will not regret this one. Incredible ride, other than the 12mpg.

Please don't admit that... I have a Call of Duty that had the super professional conversion. Very nice machine.

 

I’m hanging onto mine also. I love it. It makes me giggle every time I punch the accelerator.

This is the first thread in years where I've looked and said "damn, I really should have one of these". Would have to juggle some vehicles/vehicle plans around to accommodate...hmm...

 

You won’t be disappointed. I’m shocked Jeep actually put the 392 into the platform. After all the years of enthusiasts asking for a V8, they finally capitulated. It’s glorious. For years, I had explored a Hemi conversion, or even a LS3 conversion, but never gained enough confidence to pull the trigger. One piece of advice, if you do move forward, make sure to spec the Extreme Recon package which includes different wheels, bigger tires, etc, but, most importantly, it comes with 4.56 gears versus the standard 3.73. That gearing difference is a game changer in how it performs. We’re talking low 0-60mph in the low 4’s. Also, consider the Sky One-Touch Power Top. It’s a pricy add, but it makes going “topless” a breeze.

 

These are awesome looking inside and out. If they just updated the entertainment system I'd have one.
