Austin City Limits will require vaccination or negative test. https://www.austin360.com/story/entertainment/music/2021/08/19/acl-fest-covid-vaccine-proof-negative-test-required-austin-tx/8194000002/
That's the artists "flexing", or the festival itself. MotoGP went off fine, from a spectator POV.......
We're past both weekends of ACL and MotoGP.. if the numbers stay good for the next week or so then the USGP should be no problem: https://www.kxan.com/news/coronavirus/mask-or-no-mask-austin-travis-county-moves-to-stage-3-covid-19-risk-based-guidelines/
It's a go, I just got the Padoock club invite... thinking of going for Quali... However, there are a few modifications from normal: every day - you have to submit to a COVID test before entering the paddock club with no paddock tours or garage tours ( Mercedes says on a case by case basis - max 4 pp per hour.) FOM has no tours. Pit walk is staggard times to limit crowds, and there is supposed to be a 12 ' barrier between the garage and pit walk. all entrance to the paddock is by shuttle, so I think they test you at the pick-up location ( front parking) and then take you to the club.
Verstappen has led more laps than the rest of the grid combined this season. Image Unavailable, Please Login
We are bringing a big FCA group from Long Island arriving Thursday. We’ve been there before, but anything we need to know about Covid crap now?
Aside from special stuff like paddock club that takes you inside the bubble, I don’t expect any requirements more stringent than it takes to get on a plane.
Oops. Just saw that some other indoor areas have test requirements. I don’t plan on being in them. http://circuitoftheamericas.com/f1/covid-19
They've turned the place into a theme park - dare I call it a "mickey mouse" operation? Image Unavailable, Please Login
They wish they could compete with the mouse most of that has been there every year. Annoying that the Biergarten keeps moving farther from T15 every year
They're just trying to theme it. In reality the place is big enough to still look very much like a race track. I do love the infield with all the food stands etc
I'm not sure - looking at flights now. Seems I'd have to do Atl - Dallas, drive and back the same day not sure I want to do that.
When weather or stupidity causes me to miss the last flight into AUS from someplace, I always check for one to SAT. Around midnight it's usually under an hour drive
No, we are FULL of NYC folks here that have "fled the City"....Marfa is full f Lear Jets!! I have commented on the Covid Test Requirements for Paddock Club May ne available in nearby Bastrop waiting to confirm with a friend there... 3 days equals three tests, as I read things....
If you get to Houston before Thursday morning you can ride into COTA on the BigTex Express.... But I will be in Austin then thru Monday.I know a Brazilian Uber driver that will take you anywhere, she loves the long runs!!
ROTFLMAO!! They just detail every PortaCan on the place, and of course actual "readability" of maps is lost on the New Generation....it's meant't to be loaded to a screen. Other that that youhit it on the head of the nail.. All of our Volunteer employee trainng emulates the Great Mouse.... It's a Small World After All!!!!!!! Just call me Moon Doggie and this is Anette!!!
