250 GTO s2 by Motorina

I got an email ad from Drivers Source for this today. 330GT 2+2 #5922 donor. Motor from 250 GTE “built to 250 GTO spec.”

 

5921, not 5922. Picture of the chassisnr is in the OP's link. Engine # 2881.

It may not be a real GTO and all those arguments but I do like that they did it as a Series 2 and not a Series 1. I like the look of the Series 2 more.

It is interesting which Series 2 features they decided on. No roof airfoil. The hood scoop. Not the long roof.

Um. What might such a heretical object cost? Did not see it on the DS website.

 

I think it looks really nice and gives you as near a thrill as you'll get to a $50mm car for peanuts. Relatively.

Motorima also builds 250 LM ($650,000 in 2020) and some other models from the '50s and '60s.
They are real artists and the work done is really beautiful BUT they are only copies or fakes or recreations, choose what you want... If the clients don't try to pass them off as real originals, so much the better. If they seek to lie, that is not acceptable. In the end, Motorima only builds what is asked for.
