Here is a recent forum with information about Ferraris in Venezuela and in Colombia: http://server4.foros.net/viewforum.php?f=16&mforum=muchasrpms
If you just write Ferraris en Venezuela in google u will be sent to a recentlly opened forum, it is a spanich forum, but if u post in english I will translate under, so everybody understends. I asume one of the questions was the car with number 3 in this picture. The car was driven by Bobby Dennett in this race. This car was modified by the late Max Ciarlet (personal friend) he sold the car to Roberto Odriozola and raced by Odriozola, Dennet and the late Gustavo Sandoval on different ocassions, I am particularlly traying to find the exact model of the car. FABULOUS PICTURE! 2 Ferraris, 2 Porsche 904, a 1953 Ford, and a 1960 Plymout Valiant!!! Wonderful mix...... Tritone
Personally, I am interested in the GTE (#18) that is in that photo. Do you have any information on that? Fun photo, by the way...
Aardy, I read the story of 0239EU, but could not find records of the car, the particular car that Ferraripete is talkin about, is the same that I am talking about, I spoke to Bobby Brinzey and he purchased it from Odriozola, this car was gray when Max Ciarlet installed the vette engine, it was white in Odriozola`s hands, I never saw it blue painted but it most have been after 67 or 68. Max Ciarlet told me that this car raced in la carrera panamericana, it makes me wonder.
Aardy I just found another picture of the mentiones car in a race in 1958, just wonder if the serial number can be traced. TY elmotorizado Image Unavailable, Please Login

Pete I am glad I made your day, I have the secuence of all the owners of this car and doesnt coincide with what you have, there are many pictures of this car in my webpage, from 1958 until 1980 that it was taken to Italy. make a guess about this one branko Image Unavailable, Please Login
Beleive it or not that is the way TR 0758 ended its days in Venezuela, after that it was sent to Italy with some of the remaining TR parts and restored, then a few years later was restored again to the same color it had when imported to the country for Mauricio Marcotulli, white but with different middle stripe. Photo taken I beleive in late 58. branko Image Unavailable, Please Login
Pete, I recall an Arpad Brinzey as living in Charlotte, NC ~1970 and driving a black Sunbeam Tiger and then a silver BMW 2002, IIRC. I had a '61 E-Type and then a '69 Triumph GT6. Arpad and myself competed a little against each other, but mostly as co-participants in local autocross/slalom events.
the very same! sunbeam tiger had a 302 holman and moody built engine and was really, really fast!! the 2002 was actually fjord blue and was a tii...it was later found, repurchased, restored, and given to me for my college graduation present in 1990. damn small world!!!
If anyone would like to see pictures of #0239EU during restoration, and then shown on the lawn at Pebble Beach Concours, please go to my website and go to Restoration section, then to Ferrari's. www.bobileff.com Gary Bobileff
