Of course all personal but my tastes have changed.

I had a 458 and used to like the sound a lot, but have come to prefer 296, 4RS, and even 3RS over the 458. 488, F8, and McLarens have always sounded sort of blah to me and the 296 doesn't really have harmonics changing sounds through the revs like 458 does a little and 3RS and 4RS more. Though the combo with turbo on this Novitec sounds pretty good:

Ferrari V12s do sound better for sure but the non-specials have felt heavy to me and haven't driven TDF or 812C. Will try the 12C soon and see.

To me the car feels nervous, twitchy, too much turbo noise and sounds unnatural. Driving like this and it's going to be a matter of time until you wrap it around a tree. He was working on it. Then you'll have to eventually deal with CELs and/or possible warranty issues. Not for me.

No, but like you said, better than the previous TTV8s. It has a creamy, very smooth, and frankly unique sound. I can do with less turbo noise, but it’s what we’ve got. I’m hoping the VS delivers on sound too.

That was part of my calculus, have had enough issues with Ferraris that I don't want to create issues that could bite me further.
