    Congratulations that spec sounds amazing!

Please keep pushing hard to get the black exhaust. We all should. Personally, I would consider delaying the build to see if they can get that sorted out. The exhaust staining is just so visible and hard to clean otherwise. We shouldn’t have to deal with a solved problem on a car of this calibre!

I think there is a black exhaust option - if you watch the Top Gear video of the Aperta, you can see the exhaust being clearly much, much darker than the silver exhaust on the green coupe. It just doesn't exist in the configurator right now (even the internal dealer one - not sure why).

Honestly if I were so lucky to receive an allocation AND it was “only” $100k more starting msrp I would get it. The shared tech with the F8 alone would be worth it for me. And that’s a car slightly more money ;)

My dealer commented that 13 Speciale Aperta (fixed number) and 60+ Speciale will be allocated to them. So 1:5 ratio seems like plausible assumption

Not that wild. Maybe it’s 1/3. I don’t know, same as you.

I do have to agree im not the biggest fan of my pista exhaust. Been keeping an eye on pista inventory last couple months. it went from around 50 nationwide to 25. If you take the piloti and spiders out, its in the high 10's. Seems like pista and speciale prices are going up.

I would if this is the market speaking for the new speciale, these have to be indictions somehow. I do have an allocation for a coupe, most likely will keep it a "lower" spec.

Will the harnesses be an option in the US? Didn't know if the US spec XX cars got them.

Anyone sat in the best weight seats that can comment on the comfort vs the standard racing seat?

I think it is 6 in 1, half dozen in the other. In the Porsche world you pay an ADM to get any car you want, but here's the rub. That ADM dollar amount can wildly fluctuate from $200K at the launch of the GT2RS in 2018 to $5K at the end of the SRS run. It's impossible to determine where you are in the ADM timeline until production is complete. Also, in the Porsche world, paying an ADM does absolutely nothing with your status within that dealership, PCNA, PAG...it's one and done. It's a lot of mental gymnastics to ever calculate if you overpaid, underpaid, or just right...if these calculations even matter to people.

In the Ferrari world, the ADM is in the form of the depreciation & the carrying costs of purchasing cars until you are allocated the special car. At least in the Ferrari world there is enjoyment in the driving of these cars during the journey.

The one thing that is certain is that good stuff costs lots of $, & maybe even more importantly, good stuff is NOT easy to get. The few people in here who are stating that they are getting a Speciale with 1 Ferrari in their garage, nothing on order, etc., seem to not only be the minority, but are contrary to fundamental business practice since the inception of time.

makes perfect sense. i think once all the desperadoes calling for these wind down dealers will be calling me to order one. all exotic cars are getting nailed right now. look at the used revuelto market. a new range rover and aston dbx will depreciate 50K in 30 days from sale and 1k miles. its bad.

I have heard similar situations many, many times. And to play devil's advocate, I think the issue is with special cars like this Speciale, the formula to determine a solid Yes vs a solid Maybe is wildly opaque. It's not like your client profile is entered into Ferrari Point System Simulator 2.0 and it spits out a binary "Yes".

Also, this can vary drastically from region to region. Try being a VIP or TOP in CA, when Keanu wants a SF90XX Spider.

Please point me to a new Range Rover with only 1K miles for $50K below MSRP, seriously asking as I'm in the market for one.

The best weight racing seats are one of my favorite parts of my SF90XX. They’re spectacular and I would highly recommend them. They’re light years more comfortable than the previous Carbon race seat. They’ll be a must-have for me on the Speciale as well. I cannot recommend them strongly enough. No four point harnesses in the US.

I wish they looked as good as the other ones, but I have heard how comfortable they are.

I just traded my wife’s 1 year old V8 RR with 13k mikes for the long wheelbase version V8. my all in loss on the old one was about 15k, so not bad at all!

One has 2635 miles and the other 4234 miles but both close to 50k off asking.(Don't know the first thing about these cars or range rovers, in general. Just randomly saw them)

thank you for sharing your thoughts. I was confused with the Speciale-A reveal as it has these seats. Made me think that these seats are less aggressive than the carbon bucket race seats currently available and in the Speciale coupe reveal. Also would appreciate if you can share are these adjustable or fixed seats?

IIRC this is a Titanium exhaust. That is why its silver toned. As Ti goes through heat cycles it changes color tone and has its own personality. The weight savings for from steel to Ti is more than you would expect as well. Point being, if its silver toned because its Ti tips and the rest of the exhaust...its amazing.
