things wrong...let me see = - rims - badge on passenger side, - front blinker lights - lower grill red painted - red painted front spoiler, door sill - red painted outer mirrors - radio aerial ...
It is interesting that Ferrari Corporation would choose such a non-Classiche car for the parade. I wonder why...
I stand to be corrected, but wasn't the body coloured roof spoiler an option in Europe? - It was in the UK as far as I'm aware. It also appears to have two passenger side wiper arms instead of a driver's side arm and a passenger's side arm. (The standard passenger's side wiper arm should be pretty much straight, leaving the wiper blade at an angle on the screen, whilst the standard driver's side arm should have a bend in it, that causes the wiper blade to sit parallel to the ground/horizontally on the screen)
99 % of all 328s look great, same as this one, I could care less about classiche ******** , that just means that its a trailer queen, with that being said, I think it was a great idea to have that 328 on track, nice pics by the way . Its funny, I had no inclination to start picking the car apart , I was surprised it was on track, I was also surprised that CS was not behind the wheel, that would have made it even better !!! 328s are as bad ass looking as ever, that 3/4 pic from the right, looks sick !! It neither needs to be Classiche certified or a trailer queen to still look stock and totally drivable. It's the owners car, he can do what he wants with it. Just saying for such a prestigious event maybe a more classic (non f@#ked with) example of a 328 GTS could have been used. Agree, nice to see a 328 used in the parade.
I just find the choice of car very intriguing. For a scheduled parade at a Grand Prix -- as far as I know, not a common occurrence -- Ferrari would have made a deliberate choice of car. They wouldn't have reacted, "Oh, gosh, there is a parade today. Who has a car we can borrow?" Most manufacturers would have used some of their historic road race cars or, at least, some glitzy baubles from the past. The Villeneuve 308 comes to mind. But why that modified 328? There must be a corporate reason.
We see what we see because of what we know. But there aren't as many like us out there like we think there are. As much as I know about 3X8's, had he been in a 911 from the same year I couldn't tell you **** that may be non factory on it. 99% that saw this just saw he was in a Ferrari.
Yes, UK cars had factory coloured roof spoilers as an option from the dealer,, Mine came like that and I don’t mind it to to be honest..but would probably prefer no spoiler at all had i had the choice.. I have also swapped my wipers around intentionally as I am able to see more out of the windscreen like that,, not Factory correct, but the factory doesn’t own my car either
I can only imagine the interior "additions". Well, unlike Tom Selleck, at least they didn't have to lower the seat so he could fit in the car...
No? It seems to be verified by a number of sources though admittedly they could all be wrong, I guess, or could be multiple sources basing their info on one erroneous statement.
It's like Bigfoot Someone knows someone who said they heard it, that sort of thing. I don't believe it because you don't have to do what they said they had to do. Especially with the top off.
Selleck was way to tall to fit in the 308, not only did they have to lower the seat, he would have never fit in with the top on, so it was always off. My God, Selleck is 6, 4 for Gods sake , " Oh Im 6,1 , or 6,2, and I fit in my 3x8 just fine " thats bull **** , everyone knows that, whether they admit it or not, good grief. Why Ferrari sent these cars to America with those lousy seats, which were made for guys the size of F1 drivers, is a mystery to me . Big G
I'm sure all the fans saw was a hot looking Ferrari. Probably Magnum PI's. Maybe they saw an older Ferrari. that's 'nuff
