You were making a point about Ferrari's being assembled by hand in the factory and we were discussing a 328 that had been "customised" by it's owner.

I was enquiring about the correlation between the two points.

 

was passed off to kamala. she wasn't sure if ferrari's were her responsibility.

Is the targa bar strong enough to properly support, without bending, the weight of a pair of side-by-side guys sitting upon it?

 

Well, it’s part of the roll over / crash structure of the car, so I should certainly hope so.

 

The roof skin on that panel isn't structural, and it's prone to becoming indented from people resting their elbows on it, using it for leverage as they remove the targa top.

Ass cheeks may not put as much localised pressure on the panel as elbows do, but I wouldn't want someone sitting on my roof panel!

 

Anyone knows how one can volunteer their F car to drive an F1 driver around the track prior to the race?

 

It's normally organised through the relevant car clubs and the F1 organisers.

 

I see a GTO, a 328 and this little spark plug. I've got 2 out three. So nice to see all these old Cars in a Parade.

I just spoke to to the Las Vegas F1 Race Director and volunteered me and my car for the driver’s parade lap., also having lunch with him this week, wish me luck.

 

That's super cool to me and my daughter because I own a 328 and a 348!!
