    definitely yes to the first one, coming down windy hills can be agonizing with an exhaust leak.

    only sometimes for killing the engine, and as for flub-flubbing... i assume you mean the pfft-pffting. :D

    I think it was the air pump manifold rail. The pump had been disconnected for years.

    I actually bought the car and brought it home, but ended up giving it back to the seller after some "issues" were discovered.
