My car is missing the two foam gaskets that are glued to the inside of the 308 front trunk lid.

I just received gaskets from one of the regular Ferrari vendors (who shall remain nameless), but I can’t believe the ugly two-thin-pieces-glued-together-crooked gasket I received is what Ferrari originally put in.

Does anyone have a photo of the original gaskets?

I am figuring some careful shopping at Home Depot will get me closer to the real thing than what I currently have. … Then again, I know never to be surprised by what Ferrari did at the factory.

I’m preparing my car for FCA judging at 2016 Concorso Italiano and since Platinum Level is now 97 points, I figure I better fix some of these minor details.

Gaaa. I just assumed it was such an obscure question, I didn't even search. Black mark for me.

It's looking like the front foam is a triangular piece, and the piece I bought matches and looks nice.

The rear one is still a little bit of a question mark. The photos of peoples cars show all kinds of stuff. I don't like the Ferrari one I bought and it cost me $43 (I may return it despite the 20% restocking fee plus postage). It looks like Home Depot sells OEM factory replacement stuff as A/C foam for $3, but I remain unsure of the thickness needed. I think I will measure what my car needs. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/135977996-post24.html

Just be careful it can handle the heat.
