What is the OEM plating color of the ATE calipers? While re-doing brakes, I'm considering re-plating the support bracket and piston carrier.

No. They are plated. I want to know if they are yellow or clear plating.

Cadmium plated...but these days you will need to settle for yellow zinc dichromate unless you are lucky to find a plater that will do cad.

The original cad plating was more of a silvery very light gold colour, the yellow zinc will be, well, yellow gold like in tone. Some places that do military aerospace work will still do actual cad plating. eg. http://www.delsplating.com/cadmium-plating.html

It would be great if someone could post a picture. But not sure how the plating would hold up after 30 plus years.

I bought mine from Superformance in UK. They are 38mm, but I think PMB has them too. 38mm is the rear, I don’t remember the front size.

Am a bit worried by the look of where that car is sitting on the ramp! looks like the rear supports are about in line with the factory jack points - and without the weight of the front wheels as well .
