I have 18" wheels on my 1989 328 GTS. ( never liked the convex ABS models wheels.) I bought an M coupe' and its wheels made the 328's look frumpy in comparison alongside in the garage. So the change..

While the OD has been retained as origional, perhaps because of the bigger wheels or just because im looking at it so much suddenly cos it looks so much nicer, it seems like an half to 3/4 inch lower would be perfect, especially at the back.

I have done a search and found much on lowering but not really on 328's. 348's and up seem to have height adjustable factory springs. What are the lowering options for the RHD 328 ?

Options should be the same as with the 308. See http://www.ferrarichat.com/discus/messages/256120/199158.html though i'd avoid the perches idea. Fchat sponsor Nick sells dual-adjustable and height adjustable shocks. i JUST went with Nick's shocks/springs and need a month to really get a handle on things as she was also lowered and new bushing installed. Basically a redo/refresh of the suspension to more modern standards. Hope this helps.

Steve R. -- While I'd agree that it's also desirable to increase the spring rate when reducing the ride height that's in a different $/hassle league than the deeper perches IMO.
Do you have any technical explanation how using the fixed perches on a 308/328 is any different (or more undesireable) than someone adjusting their perches on a 348/355?
