    I am finishing up my 348 engine out service so I took the opportunity to figure out the very hard to read schematics, wiring colors, and pin numbers of the Bosch 2.7 Motronic. Here it is for future reference.

    This is great but for clarification, is the wire "Row 1 19 Black Black Fused 12V" the one responsible for continous power for ecu memory or is it 18 or both? Looking to verify power to ensure learning is not lost when powered off.

    Looks like an error. Pin 19 is an earth (black/black no fuse)

    Of course, you need an earth wire to complete the memory circuit... i.e. unless the ECU case provides the earth.

    Yes, Pin 19 is connected to the earth "splices" on the diagram which are shown to be connected to certain earth point on the body. Pin 18 is obviously at permanent +12V.

    I attach two files showing 2.7 pinouts. They are probably not specific to the 348 but appear to be applicable.
