Searched but couldn't get a clear answer. Are the brake rotors interchangeable between the 348 and 355? How about the rears on a 348 that originally came with 25mm wide rotors? I understand the 355 has 30mm wide rear rotors. Fit? No fit?

Brakes are the same, 348 and 355. They both fit either model.

I have never heard of the 355 having 30mm wide rear rotors.

Unless they were on the last of the 355s with the FHP. *Fiorano Handling Package*

Those brakes are the same diameter, but came with cross drilled rotors, better brake pads and red calipers.

Again, never heard of a thicker disc on the rear of the 355 but would love to know if that is correct.

Hmm. I don't want to spread misinformation. I don't remember where I read that 30mm figure for the 355. Maybe it's a Challenge series dimension...

Yes, the discs are interchangeable, AFAIK.

    I had F355 discs on my 1990 348ts. FWIW.

That's all the internet shorthand that I know. TIA.

I have a pair of brand new, in the boxes, never mounted, rear brake rotors, that I purchased for my old 348 many years ago.
These are Brembo part number B25263, Ferrari part number131868, the box dated 11\26\02. I will sell these to you at a reasonable discount below current prices, you can pick them up here (Tacoma area) at no delivery cost. Any questions, feel free to ask.

That sounds more like it, the CH had monster brakes on it and they would have 30mm wide discs for sure.

I have 2 sets of replacements for my 348 SS and they are supposedly interchangeable with 355's.

Thank you, Jeff. Maybe I confused rotor thickness with shoe width. I thought there was a difference in there somewhere.

I am an expert in ordering parts that don't fit. My basement is full of them from various car and motorcycle projects.

PS Dont let anyone tell you 348/355 handbrakes are rubbish - if they are adjusted/fixed they are as good as a modern car :)
