OK, found out that my door light wasn't working and so I removed the harness connector to find out I had 1 broken pin and 3 partially broken pins. Thanks to Miltonian for this thread. His directions were perfect!! I used red wires for the 18 gauge and blue wires for the 14 gauge. It does take a bit of time, but everything works great now and the window actually goes up a little faster. Here's a few pictures from the process. If you have to do this project don't shy away as the directions in this thread make it easy.

I don't think anyone has successfully found, ordered and received replacement connectors yet. At least not that I know of here on FerrariChat and I've been searching as well.

What crimping tool do you use on these connectors?

Ferrari has always had part numbers for these electrical connectors but you had to know to look in the Electrical Components catalog.
They are all still currently available. Male door connector is $16.26, female connector is $14.04. Male terminal is $1.00 and female terminal is $5.98.
    Rutlands has them in stock.

Sorry to resurrect this thread but 4redude I tried looking at Rutlands and did not see it. Does anyone know where to get those part numbers? I damaged the plastic piece of the male door connector a bit and figured I can change it out when I re-pin it.

Not everything in stock is on the website. The electrical stuff was only shown/identified in a separate Electrical Components
manual that not many people are aware of. Call Rutlands and ask for me.

Lots of posts on how the connectors are not to be found, Ricambi did not have them but I suspect he could order them but did not volunteer (I think Daniel just hates them that much ;)) so the next 2 places I checked either had them or could order them with no issue. I got 2 sets of connectors (both sides) from Rutlands in 2 days they had them in stock.

I plan on rewiring the door side with flexible silicone coated wire and using gold connectors then splicing them in to the door wiring from the cheese grater side. Prep the connector wiring on the bench, then just splice/solder them in.

Same here, Rutlands had them out to me in 2 days. I got the pin extractor from Digikey. Got it all fixed up.

I need the silicone washer that fits inside the connector. Did your connector from Rutlands come with it?

I just got done with mine using Digi-key pins. Takes patience. I zip tied a pony tail 1.2 inches from jamb connector and then sprayed a Firestone product inside the bellows boot. When closing the door the wires slide instead of folding. Works nicely. There was no way I was gonna' cobble it with hard wires. Every time I open up some car and discover some sort of butchery, I cringe. Thanx to FC !!

Does anyone have a wiring diagram showing the drivers door to body connectors wiring location by pin for a 1992 348 TS. I have the Service manual with many wiring diagrams, but none that show the round connector with pin ID’s . Thanking you in advance. David

Maybe @Qavion has the wiring diagram.

You'll find the pinout info here:

And here's my favorite post about the best way to fix the problem:

The pinout in the previous post is probably best. Anyway, here are the wiring diagrams you already have with a few colours and notes added:

    F348 Windows Wiring Diagram

Please note the possible variations between the wiring diagrams and the car itself.

What type of crimper (part number and picture?) are you using to crimp the wires into the mil spec pins? I have the removal tool and the pins but no crimper. I'm not extending the wires.

The awg of the oem wires used listed in this thread say 14 and 18. The crimp tool linked only goes to 16awg.
