Thats the clown car we were ripping on a few months ago by that private seller in CA... obviously a dealer bought it from him.
Obviously a DUMB dealer! Not smart enough to take all that stupid crap off of it before trying to sell it!
At least they took that dumb "snow plow" wing off of it... or maybe the owner removed it because he took a huge hit selling it to the dealer.

Update, yep... same VIN, it went from Folsom CA to Chicago!

Notice there is no picture of the rear bonnet area where that wing was mounted... i'll bet there's some big holes left behind!

This guy is not too far from my house and I have looked at a car there before. He basically buys cars, shines them and then resells them for more money. But I guess that is the definition of a dealer, isn’t it ;)

As a noob learning before making a purchase, how did you tell it has obvious front end damage? I'm hoping to purchase within the next few months, and if I can learn to discern stuff like this before making a phone call, it ought to save lots of time, as I am trying to find the "right" one... :)

Alignment of the front bumper to the hood area.. look at the size and variance in the gap/seam. In the shot with the hood up you can see overspay... let me know if you see it..... I feel your pain.. I looked for over a year until I found mine, but i was very very very picky.

Sharp eye... barely noticble to me. Is is possible that the overspray is actually a reflection of red?
Disclaimer - In no way am I considering purchase... :)

Don't listen to these couch commandos. Go see the car for yourself.

As for seeing "overspray" off a 72 dpi eBay photo... I'd hate to have this guy on my jury. He sees things that just don't exist.

wing, do you have some connection to this car??? you seem pretty upset that I advised some caution. Is it over sparay or reflection??? don't know for sure but I spent a year looking at photos and then flying out to see cars and I was right 99% of the time. as far as reflection maybe but FLAT paint tends to NOT reflect very well. I'm not saying buy or don't buy the car just check some stuff before you buy... Is there any harm in advising caution???

PS these couch commando's as you call us have probably saved many a newbie some heart ache involved in buying a junker without knowing it.

and I guess the coach commando that I am imagined the front grill looking WAY TO PERFECT. If the front bumber was only resprayed due to rock chips were are the nicks, chips, bug debris etc on the front grill. the black grill and area behind it looks way to perfect. This area of the car would have to show some wear and tear or evidence of being dirty at some point...that grill looks like it just came out of the factory wrapper.. just my $0.02. I never said it was gospal just food for thought.
