Very nice. Too bad you're so far away... I'd send you mine for repair. I plan on fixing mine when time is available.
Thanks for the info. A couple of years ago I couldn't find it anywhere. Now you can also get it from Littlediode (UK) http://www.littlediode.com/components/search.php?mode=search&page=1&simple_search=Y and very cheap on Ebay (US) https://www.ebay.com/itm/3x-BDB02CRLRE-MOTOROLA-500mA-80V-PNP-Si-SMALL-SIGNAL-TRANSISTOR-TO-92-3-units/111192206276?hash=item19e3926bc4:g:HhsAAOxyffZSYCfb. The datasheet is attached.
yep, that’s a pity. Let me know anyway. Tomorrow will be the test time, so I’ll discover if the operation has been properly accomplished or not Inviato dal mio iPad utilizzando Tapatalk

Hi again guys, a small update. After a period of fair working the speedometer has shown again troubles. This time has stucked in a certain value of speed, not mooving up or down accordingly with the gas pedal variation. Even when the car was totally stopped the instrument was showing a certain speed (80mph). So I have dismounted the speedo to controll the board but was all ok. So I've started a new investigation. At the end I've discovered that it was the small electric motor beneath the electronic board that Has in charge to move the odometer values and the lancet as well. As the entire block of the odometer gripped due to lack of lubrication the electric motor wasn't able to mantain the right behaviour of the odometer itself and the lancet as well so it stucked to a certain value. i had to dismount and lubricate the entire block to have the speedometer finally working. I hope this can help.
awesome news. If you took a picture of the entire block you lubricated it would help others if you added it here.
