Anybody have a complete 348 tool kit for sale? Been looking on eBay for a while...there's nothing reasonably priced at the moment. And the couple that are, are missing critical tools. Looking specifically for the 348 as it has the spark plug ratchet and tools as opposed to the 355 which does not.
    Thanks

What year 348? There are two took kits, one is a flat style and one is more of a vertical / brief case style

Well I'm not totally sure but my research shows 89- 92 had the horizontal type. And then they went to the vertical type 93-95. I would probably consider either style, but prefer horizontal. I think the Mondial T cab also was equipped with the horizontal type.

Very nice! I just put together an owner's manual for this car. Believe It or Not Ricambi still lists the ratchet, socket, U-joint and extrnsion as still being available.

Mine is an early model year 92 so I'm thinking it probably had the horizontal. But I'm not too choosy.

My kit came with a KRAFTWERK ratchet, and I suspect matching socket and extension. The most common are USAG, which may not fit my tray. I had a heck of a time finding the ratchet.

My car is May 1992 production, German market, sn 94472. My toolkit is different than the two talls that Wade posted.

Certainly the second one he posted is a North American case as it has 9005 type headlight bulbs in it. (the wood background).

Here is a picture of mine. You can see the differences between it and the first one Wade posted, the ratchet tray mainly.

Oh wow guys thanks for all the info and pics. I can't believe but I didn't notice the different headlight bulbs from Euro to u.s. spec. The one in Germany and I found does have totally different headlight bulbs than mine...Mine has the 90deg shape high and low beams.....Guess I'll keep looking. I'l pay top dollar but want the correct kit.

Thanks for the tip yes I checked with them. I have found two in the UK quite nice hundred percent complete euro-spec with the wrong headlight bulbs but you can't have it all I'll probably get one of those. Both are missing the magnetic work light but can always pick one of those up on eBay for a small fortune!

I don't think the worklight came in the tool kit. I think it was supposed to live in its own vinyl case in the glove box. At least that was the case with my car. Not uncommon to find an as-new one here for ~$100. FChatter scaledetails often has them or you can sometimes find them on eBay.

Those H4 replacement headlamps are the perfect excuse to upgrade to the Euro light housings so you can get more lumens *and* your toolkit will match your car.

No end of spending opportunities with a Ferrari. :)

Good point on the Bulb switch but I wanted to keep everything as stock as possible probably will get the Silver Star upgrade. Good point about the emergency light you are correct it lives in the glove box!

You are correct about the light, it is not stored in the kit. It came in a vinyl pouch stored in the glove box. At least that’s the way my one owner 92 is. As far as the tool kit, mine came stored in a canvas bag and I’ve yet to ever look inside the kit.
