I have my 348 for 9 months now and I've done about 4000 miles. I've only filled up gas and added 750cc of 10W40 oil. For the rest nothing special.
But when it has to go to the garage they go deeeeeeep $$$$$ as we all know.

The looks ? Yep, the 355. Just a little bit better.
But the pricegap here is like $ 30.000........

Hi Daniel, Yes you are correct I was refering to the design. I should have clarified myself. Although its hard to complain about any fcar they are great cars to me. Regards, Vern
P.S. On the topic of the goopy HVAC on 355s, my 348 HVAC ECU up and just quit one day to the tune of $1200.00 LOL

I would like to add a little more to Ernie's comment. I do all my work on my 355C too. It has the Motronic OBD("on board diagnostic" just in case anyone didn't know hahaha). Which means you can read your CEL codes and determine the problem. I think working on these cars is fairly straight forward if want to consider that part of ownership as entertainment too. Regards, Vern

Daniel - Notice all the 355 pictures are static where the 348 drivers are out ripping around...must just be we like to drive our cars more.

More motivation for the 348....and one right before the GB I spent all weekend working on went kablammo.

Just remember that although the 348 gets ragged on quite a bit here, you won't have the manifold problems you could have with the 355. And remember, it's an Ferrari. In other words, the price you buy the car at could potentially be your cheapest expenditure. Take your time when search for one. I fall in love with every Ferrari I look at!!!! (not a hard thing to do;))

I've noticed how all "rational" Ferrari comparisons end up being photo shoots.

It's kind of like a "who has the cutest baby" contest for guys.

The best Ferrari is the one in your driveway with your name on the title-all others are just that....others.

I would vote for an combination of both :)

I hate extra weight from airbags, powersteering, .. and interieur from the 355 but i also hate the taillights, bumpers and doorstakes from the 348. So an combination of both is the best for me.
