I have noticed that some 348's have a chrome windscreen trim and some have black. I have a '93 348 ts and mine has chrome, I hate it and want to change it to black. I guess that it can only be removed by taking the windscreen out, is this correct? The cost of the trim is in the region of £400 !! Has anybody successfully repainted it in place? What would be the best way of preparing the chrome before applying a black coat? Does anybody know why some have chrome and some have black ?? Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.
