My neighbor has a 355F1 that kept shifting into neutral when up or down shift was commanded and during cornering from anygear would shift into neutral. His problem I think is so noteworthy I thought I'd nemtion it. It was found by Ferrari of Seattle, that the crossmember was bent like it had hit a rock or was improperly jacked at the center of the crossmember (crossmember between the engine and the transaxle). I looked on my F355 6-speed and the shift rod is within 1/4" from this crossmember where it enters the transaxle. The 355 F-1 has a rubber boot in this area which narrows the clearence to 1/8" of an inch. If you are having shifting problems suggest you look at this spot. If you've had problems like this sound off.
