I think we all do but mine are grey not black. If you do a search you should find the part number.

I’m about to buy the smart eMT F1 relay from Scuding in Switzerland but I want to make sure I order the right one (four or five pin).
There seems to be a little confusion as to the location of this relay in the 355F1.
Is it behind the passenger seat (UK RHD car), or in the footwell?

Just wondering if you been running this in your car since? Any feedback you can share if it's been good and an improvement?

Unfortunately I haven't been able to run it in my car successfully yet, so it's still sitting on my shelf.
I've installed it a few times but it keeps throwing up error codes (basically saying the pump takes too long to prime).
At first I thought it was because of the various issues I was having at the time with my F1 system, but my system is now working perfectly with the new solenoid, accumulator etc., but the smart relay still isn't happy.

I did contact the manufacturer but they said that it couldn't be the relay and must be a fault in my system.
My Ferrari mechanic (who is extremely knowledgeable re the 355F1) says although my pump does take a while to prime when cold, it isn't out of spec and is working fine so it would make no sense to buy a new one now.

Having said all of that, I believe that others who have successfully installed the relay are happy with the results.

I realized maybe you might be installing it in the wrong slot. The previous poster said it is #14 but it should actually be the middle one #13. If you see it on your car it will be the gray slot according to scud ing instructions. I just got mine and installing it now

Corrrect. The middle one is the pump relay (which is to be replaced with the Scud-Ing relay).

#14 is the F1 TCU (ECU) relay.

Well that's interesting, as in my email exchange with Stef from Scud Ing he is adament that #14 is the correct one!

I don't have my car at the moment to try it out.

Please let us know how you go putting it in #13

Yeah that is strange. I haven't seen that photo before (maybe it's a new addition to the website?)
Without my car here I can't be sure where it was that I tried to install it, but I reckon I would have followed the instructions I received via email.

If it works properly in the centre position for others I'll try it as soon as I get my car back.

I hope you didn't damage anything from placing it in the wrong slot. I definitely have it in the middle one now. I installed last night and the pump seems to cycle fine now. Just haven't had the chance to drive it because I have body work being done on the car. Interesting though I realized is the pump seems to cycle every few minutes now with the new relay as opposed to previously i dont recall hearing it as often.
