355 (Not Mine) w/ Custom Interior!

    I have decided to take my 355 to another level. I spoke at length today with Chris from Valence USA and have ordered every carbon fiber piece he makes (except for the rear venturis/diffusers) for the 355. So far this includes the side panels in the engine compartment, the door sills, and the console around the stereo and gauges above them. He says he will have the center console piece around the shifter within a couple of weeks and a full center tunnel piece in a few months. I plan to add those when they are ready.

    Why am I doing this? I saw a beautiful silver 355 online that has undergone an extensive interior rehab that includes all the carbon fiber pieces I want plus a few more (the door panels). Some may think it is over the top, ugly, etc. My personal opinion is that is looks very cool. I am all about quality customization - not tacky stick on parts or gawdy excess. Again, some may think the interior is too much but my opinion is that it is well done. What do you guys think?

    So are you doing yellow seats?

    I would say its a great idea. Especially since you picked them out, I think you can really pull of the look.

    Then again my opinion is slightly biased ;)

    No plans to change the seats. Only add the carbon fiber pieces not including the door pieces as Valance does not make them.

    One interesting piece is in the second picture. The hand brake cover is cool looking. Mine is made of leather and the up and down motion causes the leather to wrinkle quite a bit and it will eventually wear through. The carbon fiber hand brake cover is very clean looking and will obviously not wear.

    SHould look nothing short of beautiful. THe dark color of CF against the yellow color of the car would be a striking contrast.

    JT - I can't post another pic of my car here. I will be lynched! There is a thread in this section called "03/28 Ferrari Breakfast St. Regis ..." There are dozens of pics of my car there. It is a yellow 355 with a black interior. What site do you have?

    Yep, saw some of the pieces on the doorsills and my verdict is- tottally hot. Go for it.

    Does anyone happen to recognize the seats in the silver car? I cannot find them anywhere. They look like SPARCO seats but then again - SPARCO does not have a seat with a carbon fiber back. Perhaps it was custom made?
