Anybody know what the best spring upgrade is ?

I see spax, H&R and Venturi all do sets, most are 35mm lower which seems a bit low
but H&R is 35mm lower front and 20mm lower in the rear

    which should I buy ?

But with the threaded body oem shocks, you could raise IT back up a bit if you wanted, right?

    That looks really well.

How has it been grounding wise since the change ?

I would not call it an "upgrade" on any car. It is a change or a different compromise. You gain in one area and lose in another. Same with wheel spacers and just about anything else you do to a car.

I prefer stock height on a 355, but I would like it even better if the springs and shocks were a tad firmer :)...............

I am generally in agreement. I am presently having the center tray reglassed on my 355 due to been ground up pretty good over the years from various man hole covers and driveways. I would like to have the shocks valved with slightly more compression and rebound damping.

I lowered my 355 with H&R last year and love the way it transformed the handling. But as someone said, it is a compromise, I know have to use two pieces of wood to get the car out of the garage...

I changed the wheel alignment as well and that also made a HUGE difference in the way the car feels. It is strange that wheel alignment isn’t discussed more on this forum as it makes such a big difference, especially in combination with stiffer and lower springs.

I've been surprised how well my 355 gets over speed bumps but just want to take the handling
to the next level. A few months ago I replaced the front springs with standard ones as the originals
had gone a little rusty at the bottom, I noticed the difference straight away....guess the old ones
were just a bit weak10 years on......
