360 02 sensor on test pipes

i know thtere has been a lot of discussion on this subject-the engine light coming on however there was one chatter that mentioned thta he was going to buy a plug in divice that would simulate readings to prevent the engine light from coming on . i think he was going to get this from caspers electronics-would like to know if this chatter ever did this . if he did does he have a model no.of the device and did it work.also if you did not use a device such as this could you have a ferrari dealer reprogram the ecu to fool the computer. thanks van
