hey guys and girls i have a 2004 360 spyder f1 and just have 1 black key fob that now appears not to be functioning. it is at the dealership and they said they are going to hopefully get the pin code. here is the question i have an extra black key fob a from 2002 360 if i get the alarm pin code for the 2004 can i program the other black key fob from the 2002 to the car when i dont have the missing red one? if i buy/find a used red key fob from a salvage yard can i progran that one for a master for my car or just the black remotes? i did do a search and not sure i could get exact answer also is there anyway of getting around the 500 dollars the dealership wants to charge for just the alarm pin? that just seems crazy and what price should i expect to pay for 3 remotes with new pin if this ends up being my only solution??? thanks alot

Even if your 2004 remote is not functionning, it can (probably!) still be cloned in your 2002. No need for the PIN for that. If you dont want to buy the PIN, which is the ultimate solution to start you car wherever you are and whatever happen to your remote, I would suggest to have at least 2 working remotes. 2 working clones is OK. Even if you get the PIN, you wont be able to learn your 2002 black, you will need to buy another red (with its PIN) if you content yourself with only 1 remote, or a complete MATCHED set of 3.

After all the searches, you will find that you have only two choices (as all others folks are saying) 1) Clone an existing working fob of the same car; OR 2) Order a new set of fobs (Red + 2 blacks + Pin) and program them in your car. I struggled with all other choices but did not get anywhere except for the two choice above. Good Luck.
