The airbag light is ON if the battery it has little power.
In order to extinguish it, is necessary connect to (SD-x or OBD-x) to erase the error of the memory.
In the 355 can be reset manually to extinguish that light, (without SD-x or OBD-x).

Somebody knows if also it is possible in the 360?.

It could be that you need to replace your battery and that might be why you are getting weird messages!

The battery already is new, but the light of airbag follows ignited.

To erase the error, is necessary connect to the SD-2 in the official service.

I believe that also it is possible, as the 355 (see the picture), connecting the ECU terminal to ground, But I am not sure.

    This could be the procedure.

    Is your car a 355 or a 360?

I have 2, one Ferrari 360 Spider F1 and one Ferrari GTSTurbo.

I am not sure if the 355 and the 360 are equal to extinguish the light of airbag. For that reason I ask. I do not want fuse nothing :)

This is the F355 Workshops manual.

Soon I will have the 360 Workshops manual.

    I would not assume a 355 manual will work on a 360.

Take your time to be sure of this.

Resetting the battery does nothing for the airbag system. It is necessary to use the computer, SD or Leo.

Supposedly the foxwell system with ferrari software (fancy OBD) can do it. I bought one and was unable to reset mine. Not sure if there is a disconnected/defective component or problem on CAN, or it just doesn’t really reset the airbag.

I wonder Has anyone else tried this system?

Yes I would love to have that capability as my light is on after some idiot turned the power on with the gauge cluster disconnected. Nearest computer is 1.5 hrs away.

Just an FYI ... the air bag is disabled whenever the air bag light is on.

You are trying to compare Motronic 2.7 software with a system two generations later, Motronic 7.3. What works for 2.7 will not generally work for 7.3. About the only thing they have in common are the DOT mandated emissions related codes they generate. It takes an SD2 or equivalent software to turn off an airbag light on Motronic 7.3 and 7.1.1 systems.

I’m sure you are correct, but the unit was advertised as being able to communicate with and reset 360 air bag system.

I have a 2004 360 Spider with the airbag light on and my Foxwell NT530 will not communicate with the airbag module. Has any body had success with the Foxwell products on an airbag fault?

I had an airbag issue with my 2000 360 Modena F1. I used a cheap OBDII reader that I got from WalMart just to read the codes, there was an erase all button and once I done that the airbag light is now off and has stayed off for several weeks now. I think it was only $49 and seems to have worked for me.

Necro bump. Anyone else been able to do this? I have three OBD-II dongles and four apps. None of them give options to correct air bag warnings.
