    Hi,

Thanks to some help from @paulchua, I got my hands on a pile of 456 reference material and added OCR, which makes the WSMs and Owners Manuals much easier to navigate with functional find-in-text.

I've added OCR for all languages included in the documents as well as converted some .doc and .xls stragglers to PDFs.

I've put them on MEGA, so hopefully that'll be more resilient than most file-sharing hosts. If the link dies, include me on the list of people to DM if you need a copy of the material.

    Thanks,
    Dan

    Thanks for sharing!
Now all we need is Section L of the 456 (non-M) WSM. Anyone, please???

It seems this infamous Section L actually does exist, see https://www.ebay.com/itm/165570019888.
At this number, perhaps we can all put some money down and share the document online. Count me in.

Edit: I see that the seller lives less than an hour from me. Tempting to go over but I don't, at this moment, need the manual badly enough. And it's above my budget.

Is in the same manual. Seller asks 5250 for the complete set.
Very tempting, but ridiculously expensive. He knows what he is selling.

Can we get 50 guys willing to invest $100,-? Then I am willing to collect, scan and put online.

If the wiring diagrams are in the same format as the 456M, we would then have the problem of converting the user-unfriendly "connector pinout diagrams" to standard wiring diagrams. I don't think I have enough energy/willpower to do this type of conversion again.

Offer the guy $1000 to accompany you to scan only section L. I’d kick in $100 for that

You do not just need section L, you need the expanded section L, like we have for the 456M. That usually cost extra compared to the vanilla section L in the WSM.
