    Hi

I wonder if someone on here is able to give me some guidance with the below query please.

I have a 458 with the front Lifter. I was going to put some Noivtec springs on it, I'm quite comfortable with taking off the shock myself and changing the springs, however I've noticed the suspension lifter is hydraulic on the front shocks, hence my basic question is, If I simply disconnect the banjo that connects the hydraulic line to the strut, what is the process for bleeding the system when I connect it back up? where is the reservoir and what fluid is used?

    any help greatly appreciated

    Thanks Miles

Since posting the above I've managed to download a workshop manual, it states to bleed the hydraulic lifter system a DEIS Diagnostic tester is required, and to select "NSV Bleeding" on that diagnostic tool. this is obviously the Ferrari specific tool that costs an absolute fortune!

So question now is: Does anyone know of a DIY way to bleed the lifter system? if not I suspect I'll be better off getting the whole spring change done by a specialist..

    Thanks Miles

What I want to know is: Where did you find a workshop manual?
