Malibu indeed. Most def. And a great photo of it. This is my favorite because of its Norman Rockwell imagery. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I drive my 458 speciale in the rain.. I don't understand why I shouldn't. If ppl had the option to buy the 458 without the manatino settings, they would prefer to have it I believe. I enjoy how brilliantly it handles in the wet setting on wet roads. As a matter of fact I'm driving it today in the rain to pick up my girls son from his last day of school. I feel like a pro driver bc it is just so amazing. I would say the rainy days for me are the most fun unless I'm taking it to the track in which case dry roads are as fun. People tell me it's too hard to detail it after driven in the rain. I own a Ferrari.....so do you.... we can afford to have it detailed if not up to the task.. I personally don't mind the work. I enjoy it. So I do it myself. But if I don't have the time, I'll simply pay my guy to do it. He comes to my house weekly to make sure all my cars are up to par.
Even after 47,000 miles, I still don't drive her on the streets in the rain. But there was that time at COTA in a good hard rain. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I don't drive my cars in the rain. I like to keep them clean always, so driving in the rain requires a good cleaning immediately after. That said, the main reason I avoid rainy weather is safety involving other drivers. Visibility drops, less traction, etc.. I've been rear ended in rainy weather driving my daily and have watched cars veer off the road behind me, not realizing traffic is stopped until the last second in rainy, poor visibility weather. Just not worth the heightened risk imo. Sent from my SM-G960U using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Heres a short video of my 488 in the rain. Its a lot of fun especially around corners. I have full PPF so not too worried about damaging the car.
