Nice... but I don't look at screens in race cars and barely look at them in street cars lol. It's about sat play list, audio functions and I forget what else. But the big screen reminds me MBZ dash and distracts from my looking at my wife lol Not bad looking but not for me.
2016 488 GTB here. Has both CarPlay and optional JBL spec. This morning the radio would not reliably Bluetooth connect, CarPlay USB connect, or turn on. In fact, it would not even let me toggle out of the connect screen to use the right screen for speedo or other non radio functions. Completely stuck / hung. Cannot even reboot the right screen by holding down the large button for 5-10 seconds. Vehicle was purchased from Ferrari Los Angeles who did the annual service and Ferrari certification for 2 year CPO warranty before delivery to me a month ago, so I expect the firmware is up-to-date. Things I did differently: this was the first time I did not leave the 488 on the OEM trickle charger since taking delivery a month ago. Perhaps battery related. How would I check the radio firmware version myself?
I just checked the versions on my 2016 488 GTB with Apple CarPlay and optional JBL system. They appear much older than yours: Software Version 15.50.30 NaviServer 9.10.2.606298 Map CMCN4VP4NA Map Database NQNA2013Q2:20140414 I never use the navigation, so that doesn't matter. The CarPlay issue that has happened once in the first 4 weeks of ownership does. I must get the software version updated. Time to call the dealer and ask what's the latest version. Closest dealer is 200 miles away.
My 2016 488GTB is doing the random radio glitch now. I need to check the firmware, I bet it's way out of date. Screens work, show music, but speakers don't play. Turn car off, walk away for a bit and go back and it works lol. It will do the glitch randomly every 10-15 uses of the car lol.

Approximate cost $1000 ( in UK). Another main dealer in the same group of companies said, Yes no problem I have it on a memory stick and will do it for free. Took half an hour and two versions upgrade. Problem gone away.
