You should follow the statements made by Ferrari officials recently.
Leiters clearly said the F8 will see a four years run when it was unvealed in Geneva.
Sometimes reading is better than thinking...;)

One can never rule out the possibility that a statement will not be confirmed by the actual facts - I think we saw that before more than once ;)

Agreed, especially since Leiters didn't say 4 years in the R&T interview. It was the author that assumed "around 4 years".

Nice video edited by YOUCAR. Watch to the end to hear what Enrico Galliera has to say to Ferrari customers.

On a side note - some comments below the video looked so funny
"Who else read TRIBUTO as TRITURBO the first time" ?
Ferrari Triturbo! :D That means people are always expecting something extra from Ferrari.

My ‘reading’ has come from the numerous people on fchat who seem to have an inside track on what Ferrari is doing. They called the F8 long before it was on anyone’s radar and indicated it would be a stop-gap car for two years, mostly because emissions regs necessitate a hybrid platform and Ferrari need the extra time for development. Those regs come into force around 2020/21 and I have done a lot of reading about that because it affects my own business. And guess what, that’s about 2 years away.... I don’t know how accurate R&T’s interview was but as I understand it Ferrari officials have said it will be a ‘normal run’, which is rather unclear. Unless you heard Leiters specifically say a four year run on YouTube or something?

Sometimes considering another view more carefully is better than assuming...;)

We will see. „Normal run“ means four years production cycle in Ferrari‘s terminology
Even if you rely on the forum‘s twitters only, which I don’t, you may have noticed that the ME V6 Hybrid is expected in 2021/2022 only. Just that will be the successor of the F8. I doubt Ferrari will stop production of the F8 in two years time, w/o any direct replacement...

Ferrari announces deliveries of the F8 in 2020, so two years of actual production would run until the end of 2021, this could be consistent with a V6 successor unveiled in 2021 and actually available in 2022.
I really doubt Ferrari will still be selling F8 in 2023 - which would be 4 years.

Normal run probably means coupe, spider, special car, not normal production length.

Of course will there be a spider plus the final 750hp shot included.
    „F8 Finalemente“. :D
Production of the F8 has already startet btw. Not to be mixed w delivery to customers.
    So: 2019.....2022.

To me production has not really started - rather I'd say "pre-production" for some show and demo cars; Ferrari might be slow to manufacture but they don't need 9 months to build a customer car and they will not store manufactured cars for months either.

Based on the 488 the “Normal Run” may be what Ferrari wants it to be at that point in time. The 488 only had a 4 year run whereas the 458 was 5 years.

I just want a fun mid engine car to drive. Give me a V6 hybrid which is lighter, slightly smaller and a bit more cost effective for everyday use than the F8 and I’m a buyer. I don’t care one bit about BB and I’m sure others agree. The BB will be an impractical, exotic paperweight for 99% of owners and signifies everything that Ferrari needs to stop doing in order to become more relevant to shareholders in my opinion. It’s fine as a halo car but to try to sell and market a 500-600k car as the mainstream vehicle in your offering is ridiculous. Bottom line, bring on the 486 ASAP!

Ferrari has been testing a number of configurations including a design with a wider " V " . The engine will likely be a clean sheet design. This is something Ferrari is comfortable with as their 2014 V8 and 2016 V8 TT motors were both award winning designs.
