512 Tr luggage

Is this luggage still available ??? What is the best number to reach you as I am interested for my TR

 

i think there are more than 3 cases in the full set.
i havent seen mine in a while, but i think there might be two of those small ones and then a briefcase as well.

 

So do you have 3 or 5 pieces and where is the luggage located. ?? What is the best number or email to reach you to discuss ??

 

That's an early partial set stamped 512 and Testarossa instead of 512TR. Very early owner's manuals are marked like that also.

512TR came in 5 or 6 piece.
Full set is 2 suitcases, 2 small cases, 1 briefcase. Plus long bag for the 6 piece.

Testarossa came in 6 piece only.
512M in 5 piece only.

 

A handful of Testarossa sets were ordered as 5 piece only, due to a spare tire option on the car.

 

All Testarossa's came with a spare tire. There's no part # for a 5 piece Testarossa set.

 

512TR did not the can of tire filler in lieu of

 

Yes, but the Testarossa, 512TR, 512M bags are different. The 512TR bags are deeper than the Testarossa's.
See how deep the left bag in the 1st pic above is.

And the Testarossa doesn't have the cover panel on the parcel shelf that the 512TR/M do.
Hence the deeper briefcase on the Testarossa.

 

Correction - the 512M set is 4 piece not 5 piece.

Testarossa - 6 piece

512TR - 5 or 6 piece

512M - 4 piece

 

Yes 512 tr bags are different in terms of shape and the embossing.

If you travel in your TR which we do, I do not think you can carry as much any other way.

The picture of 6 is the complete set. The 3 shown at the top of the page is whats for sale.

He was apparently confused because he posted a reply in this thread and my thread and may have mixed up the two.

 

Was a set for the "M' ever offered? Reason I ask is it would probably be a 3 piece set.

 

Yep, it's 4 piece. Rarest Schedoni set, ~62 made.

Similar to the 512TR, but no horizontal cases since the lights are there. No long bag. 2 briefcases.
Interior is like the 355 luggage, so no flaking.

I think the BB set was the rarest at 29 sets produced.

 

You are both wrong. I got this from Simone personally when I took him to a friends house in Phoenix. This friend has one of the 2 sets made for Daytona.

 

Is that official? There have been several BB sets for sale recently and none for the M.
