512TR Owners--Where to get second Key made?

    Hello there---

    Any suggestion where I go to get a second key for my 512TR? The dealer misplaced the second one so I am down to one key.

    I assume it can't be duplicate at just any place....or can it? thanks

    No, it can't. The TR key is pretty long. That being said, I had simply went to a locksmith shop, handed them the key, and said it was for a 86 FIAT.

    Matched it right up. Saying Ferrari around here would have tripled the price! :)

    Dear Ferraristi,

    Why can't you just order a key from the dealer with your VIN number and proof of ownership? I have done this.....and the key fitted just fine.
