550 Aircon issue

    After working as designed for the last few years the airconditioner now only works when set on the minimum temperature setting and the fan on maximum (setting 4 ),some time ago the compressor and dryer were replaced and the system regassed-where do I start

    Hi james,
    My tech mentioned to me that our systems are very sensitive to pressure, gas pressure that is, too much/little can cause problems. Wouldn't it be nice if it were a nice simple one like that!

    You might also check the inside temp sensor that monitors the cabin temperature. If faulty if can give problems like this because when you turn it to max cold (the absolute lowest temp setting), the thermostat function is overrided and it is always blowing cold. The fan might be another issue. But strange if they occur at the same time!
