    I'm a private party in the SF Bay Area looking for a no-stories 550 Maranello, fully sorted, complete and original, well documented car. I'm flexible on exterior color but want an example with black or cuoio interior leather and black carpets. A very well maintained car in excellent condition with complete service records are my priority. I'm familiar with the cars listed online. I am primarily looking for a car that's in someone's collection who is looking for an easy transaction without a bunch of marketing fuss.

    I am a collector my son and I are on ins buss he also sells cars we own a 2001 marenello around 7 k in miles a no story car I am the second owner. I knew the car since it was born it was owned by a prominent attorney until 3 years ago. My sons car company is ryan friedman motor cars you can view the car.     Jeff- Also, you should tell your son those are not Daytona seats. If he wants to know how to tell the difference between standard seats, which she has, and Daytonas, let us know.

    Have you found the car? If not, I'm readying my 1999 550 for sale shortly. It's canna fuc (gray metallic) a Ferrari Classic color, w/cuoio interior. 25,xxx miles. Last major at 17,000 miles/5 years, regular routine maintenance at dealer. Factory carbon fibre package, 6 speed manual, Larini exhaust with OEM too. FCA Concour Platinum winner 2013 . Not 100% but close. Priced to reflect. Listing to be handled by www.sellyoursportscar.net out in about a week. Car in Michigan

    Update to my 550 Maranello search. The CDF car looked very nice but sold so fast that I could not even schedule a PPI. Congrats to spark123 and the buyer.

    I am narrowing things down a little bit now.

    Titanium, TDF, or Black paint with Black, Bordeaux, or Cuoio leather. Any of those combinations will work for me.

    Given what I have learned about these cars, condition, records, and originality are essential. Mileage less important to me and should be reflected in price. I plan to drive the car I buy.

    I have a 99 550 with 19k miles. Complete service history from new, full services always completed; the most recent one completed last year for $16k. All of the sticky's were serviced, the dash was restored. No paintwork, clean car fax. The car just had complete PPI performed by a Ferrari dealer and is perfect, compression check and all.     Beautiful 550 but “rare 6-speed manual gearbox”?? Every single 550 is a six speed manual.

    I suppose I’m biased as my 575 is black/black, but...Maranellos in black are IMO some of the most, if not THE most, beautiful cars ever produced. A little more work to keep clean and the paint requires a little more caution, but when they’re all shined up...just wow!

    Your car looks great but I am trying to find one that is not red as I already have a red Scuderia. If I reconsider, yours will be a top pick!

    Black looks great! Nero Daytona maybe even better IMO. I have not found one yet in that color.

    If you like black, you might considder Blu Pozzi too, because it is non-metallic and almost black and a bit more interesting than black in my opinion. My 456 was Daytona black metallic, and I like the Pozzi much better. Blue is a color afterall, but black is not...

    Mine is Nero Daytona/Cuoio, Daytona seats w/ black inserts, black carpets, black diamond stitched leather package self. Fantastic combination. Sorry, not for sale.
