    The handle that releases the seat back to hinge forward is no longer operative and I assume the cable has either broken or become detached. Does anybody know how to remove the seat to gain access? Thank you for any help.

    I had the same problem in my 456. You may just need to take up the slack.
    I don't think you have to remove the seat. The lower panel on the side should cover the end of the release cable, where there's a nut to adjust the cable tension.
