I have just 1 seam (middle of dash) that is experiencing shrinkage. I really don't want to have the entire dash replaced. Do you recommend any type of glue product that I can use in conjunction with using some sort of a flat scraper to facilitate the re-glued leather edges back deeper into the seam?

Dan- I would give Bradan a call in NY and see what they use. They have restretched leather on a few of the V12s with good luck, but have usually pulled the dash to do it. R&R of the dash is usually at least 8 hours of labor, plus whatever time it takes to recover or stretch the leather.

Bradan comes from Brad and Dan, two brothers, and I have usually dealt with Dan.

Dan- Thanks, will add her and look forward to the photos. Sounds like a very late 04 or early 05. Assume she has F1?

Paul- Welcome to Ferrari Chat. Sorry, I missed this one. 139115, AN 56661 (that AN fits in sequence) would have most of the goodies fitted to later 04 and 05 575Ms, including the steering position sensor, straight center exhaust pipes pipes, and the new in 05 shock absorbers with different mounting bushings. This list of upgrades will give you some idea of when upgrades were made and which ones she has, which is pretty much all of them. She may even have the improved retainer system for reverse gear, a weak point in all the early 65 degree V12s.

Paul- Hopefully you can pick her up. She sounds like a good one. Is she F1 and does she have the Fiorano Handling Package or HGTC?

Today I dropped by the Ontario Ferrari Maserati dealer to get some touch up paint for my 575, and while I was there I asked if it was possible to get the original option list for my car. Previously a salesman there had told me that I needed to book a service appointment with them in order for them to do it, which I thought was really unnecessary. Well, I am happy to say that the parts service person at Ferrari Ontario was really nice and printed my car's original option list page for me without batting an eye. Also, even though I had told him that I purchased my car at a different dealer, he was very complimentary about my car and didn't seem to care. It was very refreshing to see and makes me think that Ferrari Maserati of Ontario are actually easier to deal with than I've been led to believe. Anyway, here is my original option list card's attached.
The only disappointing news about the entire experience, which has nothing to do with Ferrari Maserati of Ontario, is that now I have proof that my car was never ordered with the FHP (Fiorano Handlingn Pack), so it means I'll definitely have to look forward to doing aftermarket upgrades to improve the handling and steering feel (and to get rid of the floating completely) through John Cribb at Maranello Skunkworks when I'm ready to do so. I also know now that the 2-piece Barchetta wheels were added by an owner after the original purchase, as were the smoked taillights.

    575M/Superamerica HGTC Hydraulic Steering ECU
Was just able to confirm that the HGTC 575s came with the standard 575M/Superamerica hydraulic steering ECU, part number 168034, not the FHP ECU 175891.
HGTC owners wanting to improve steering...

Terry I have searched the 575 technical thread and found something you wrote above, that Steering ECU 168034 was the Steering ECU included in the 575 SuperAmerica as you noted. My question is, do you know if it would work on the a standard early 2002 575M Maranello assembly # 47143?

Actually, no need to answer, I've already got my answer separately and as you suggested before, the best route to go is to get the Maranello Skunkworks ECU from John :)

First the three pedal, HGTC, 140254, AN 57843 in Grigio Titanio with Cuoio interior. Owned by the owner of Mov'It brakes, which is how I came across her. Mov'It is currently working on the rear 362 mm x 28 mm ceramic brakes for my 135171. See the 4 photos.

Next one I found on E-bay, 02 MY, F1 129714, AN 46838, Grigio Titanio with beige Daytonas and shields. See the 2 photos.

Next a Rosso Scuderia 04 that a couple of FChatters were chasing, 139115, AN 5661, for which I have no photos. Has the CF trim on the interior. Owner only kept her a very short time and traded her for a Scuderia. So she is available again and if anyone is interested, I will find out where she went.

    2005 575 Superamerica VIN ZFFGT61A550143339
Listed for $225,000 by Scottsdale (AZ) Ferrari June 23, 2014
Supposedly "1 of 1" in British Racing Green
Interesting cream interior with red trim.
The 575 production list posted by TAZ shows no (zero) 2005s in green. Not sure why the discrepancy.
(I have no affiliation or interest in this car. Just posting for information.)

Don- Ferrari's list of colors was only down to 0.1% of production. Assuming 6000 cars that year (did not look up the real number), it would have taken 6 cars to make 0.1% of production and 3 to make 0.05% so it could be rounded up to 0.1%. So apparently there were only 1 or 2 green Ferraris in 2005, and that SA was one of them. Could have been the only one, too.

Looked it up and Ferrari production in 2005 was 5361 vehicles, so the math still works out pretty closely.
